We had 32 players this year which gave us a full 5 round swiss tournament. That was a great turnout considering how snowy and cold it was that day and the fact that this is the first time we have held a tournament at Summit Academy.
I want to apologize for neglecting to give recognition and prizes for those that tied for the top three places overall at the tournament. You guys performed equal to the prize-winners but were not recognized for your achievements. Luckily, this time all of the ones that tied got one prize or another anyway. For large cash prizes, the awards are typically split among the tying parties. I wasn't equipped to do that on-site and so I kept the cash prizes intact. I hope those that did not share in awards they may have felt they earned don't hold this against me.
When Mr. George Watson's name is added to the perpetual trophy, we will add a picture here with his name on it as the 2015 champion.
